The Future

Have ya'll ever thought of the future, I dont mean like 5 years from now or 10 years from now
 I mean about 40 years from now. You ever thought about what kind of grandma or woman you think you will be by now and will you look back and say you had a great life or have regrets about your life.

It sounds crazy but I cant wait to be that age. I know I cant wait to see my grandchildren, to be on the front porch with my grown up daughter and her children in the front playing with the dog and having my husband besides me and wondering how on earth we were so lucky to have a life like this.

That's just my dream anyway...that is the future I am aiming for. Of course nothing is ever guaranteed in this life but I am hoping for that future.

Why you say Im thinking of this...

 This past Saturday, in the morning, my daughter was running around with her daddy outside and gosh her hair was so shiny from the sun, and the look on her face was just breath taking. That carefree face, that face where there is no care in the world. I started to tear up because I know that this age won't last forever. I wish It did,seriously I wish It did but I know she needs to grow and be able to stand on her own two feet one day. I can guarantee you though that I will be right by her side if she falls.

I think about the future but never that far in advance. Right now all my thoughts surround the next 5-10, but after we have kids I might start thinking about us farther into the future! Such a cute picture of you guys!

House work

So today I was reading a blog chrislovesjulia.com  , and she posted a post about naming your house. Which I thought that was interesting. In our last home we actually called it The White House. Pretty sure Megan named it that. It had huge front windows and of course it was White. The name suited and it really stuck. It doesn't look like much but it was such a nice house. Cold in the winters but it was a nice home for the kids and our little puppy at the time. I think we lived here back in 2014, I could be wrong. In our current home we have decided to fix it up, and sell. We are 4 years into this house and we quickly realized soon after buying that it was too big for us. Sure our family was growing at the time but it's still too big for us. You will probably need a maid, which we don't have.  Recently,we bought some property out in the country on a 1.5 piece of land.
