Clothes:Andrew no longer fits into newborns and is now wearing three month clothes. I was really scared  because I only had newborn clothes and only a handful of only 3 month clothes,so I had to buy some clothes. Thankfully that week we went to an outlets store where I was able to buy him some clothes. He only cries when he is hungry, has a dirty diaper or he wants attention. He is a really good baby so far. Always smiling, loves kisses, I think he actually kind of likes being the center of attention. Im having some fun with this little guy, he is getting me into a routine and has made me realize I'm fine with just a few hours of sleep after all. Sometimes I want him to tell me that he loves me because I just don't know if he does. He looks like a happy baby. I hope he knows that I am his momma. He is able to watch me with his eyes. He will follow my face if I move it. Dad tried to give him the pacifier and Andrew rejected it, which I kind of knew that was going t

Not a dry eye in the theatre

Image
This past weekend my mom and I saw The Fault in our Stars. I honestly kind of forgot the whole book but when the movie started it all just came back to me. I remember when I read the book I was bawling like a baby & at the theater It was no different. Only this time everyone in the theater was crying. Seriously,  all I heard was sniffling throughout the whole movie. It was hilarious! Anyways, if you go an watch the movie take some tissues, seriously not kidding about that, you WILL NEED THEM! Have a good Thursday...another night of Big Brother is happening tonight, so for all you BB lovers don't forget!

Life of a mommy

Image
My day consists of cleaning, nursing, making meals and changing diapers. Honestly, Im ready for work. I am hoping that a district will call me soon but who knows if they will. I have to call in a few days to see if all the districts have all my information. This post was just dedicated to showing you just a couple of pictures I took while I was doing laundry.

Father's day

Image
We spent Father's day on Saturday because Jaime had to work on Sunday.  So the first thing we did on Saturday morning was make breakfast for Jaime. Well actually the first thing I did in the morning was exercise because I would like my butt back. hehe yes I liked my butt:) so my goal is to get it back. I hope it comes back. (Sorry, that was weird right?):) After breakfast, I cleaned the house and Jaime pretty much lunged(sp?) around while I cleaned the house. I didn't mind, I kind of had to,this place was pretty dirty.  We also made a cake for him. His favorite cake is German chocolate but I don't know how to make that so this was the next best thing for him. We also gave him his gifts. We bought him a Mini Ipad, itunes card, a t-shirt, and a dog card. Guess who picked out the dog card? Miss Megan of course. He pretty much spent the whole day on his Ipad. He uses it for music. Now amazon came out with Music Prime so he is pretty much in heaven. Megan and I saw a

The Best of Me-Nicholas Sparks

Image
What can I say...Nicholas Sparks is very predictable. In a good way though. I would say The Best of Me  is kind of like the notebook but a little more modern. I think a lot of people can relate to this book. You never forget your first love. Of course prepare for Nicholas Sparks to kill someone in his book, like he always does. When I read his book I like to play a game called "Guess which character he kills.". I sort of won. I won't give it away though. Lets just leave it as I kind of got it right, with a slight twist. I would recommend this book if your in the mood for some suspense and some romance. Oh, and here is the Trailer of The Best of Me . Yes, there is a movie coming out in the fall. I'm so excited! Amazon summary: In the spring of 1984, high school students Amanda Collier and Dawson Cole fell deeply, irrevocably in love. Though they were from opposite sides of the tracks, their love for one another seemed to defy the realities of life in the smal

Book Review: Graveminder

Image
Graveminder is a dark book. In this book we have zombies, love, and two worlds:The dead and the living. Graveminder was at first hard to get into but I think because I was still recovering from the last book, has that happened to any of ya'll?,The reason that it intrigued me was because it was a fantasy book and those are also my favorite. The writing was well balanced throughout the whole book and it had a great ending. It made me want to know who was behind the whole thing. I would not say it was a young adult book, I would say it's an adult book of zombies:)  From Amazon: Rebekkah Barrow never forgot the tender attention her grandmother, Maylene, bestowed upon the dead of Claysville. While growing up, Rebekkah watched as Maylene performed the same unusual ritual at every funeral: three sips from a small silver flask followed by the words, “Sleep well, and stay where I put you.” Now Maylene is gone and Bek must return to the hometown—and the man—she

These are our days

Image
These days it is hard to go out and just enjoy the summer. I can't believe how hard it is with two babies. I'm trying to get out of my funk. Maybe I will venture out soon, but right now Andrew is still really small for me to go out on my own. For now I feel like I need to have another person to help me. I still have yet to go to a store on my own with both of them in tow. Don't judge, I'm just afraid of a meltdown from one of them. Last week we took Megan and Andrew to a little picnic to the park. We had a pretty good time up until Megan had a meltdown, she freaks out with the tiniest bump to the head or her arm. I am hoping it's just a stage. She's really not up for anything lately. I don't know if it's the hot weather or something else. She just hardly ever wants to go outside to play. We cleaned out Megan's room because holy cow does she have toys. We threw away a ton of toys and now I feel that her room is looking a lot better. While we

Megan's Recital

Image
Megan had her first ballet recital a month ago on Monday. Her rehearsal was on Sunday, on Mother's day. We got dressed up on Mother's day and went to the auditorium. We sat down and watched the whole full dressed rehearsal. I am sure that this is what all parent's say but my child was pretty much the only one that had the routine down. She knew everything about her routine. I just loved watching her. During the rehearsal we were told that we could not take any pictures at all. My husband heard in his own way, that he could take photos, just as long as he didn't get caught. Yes, I have that husband.  So while we were there he was just taking pictures and pictures of our baby. Some other people got caught but not him. It was bothering me that he was just taking pictures because I actually like to follow the rules. Oh, my husband. On recital day, we got ready at 3 in the afternoon. She loved putting on makeup and getting all dolled up. I really wanted to put some eye

Heaven is for real

I was going to give this book a whole review, however, while I was writing this post it occurred to me I was talking about religion and I know that religion can be a sensitive subject so I'm just going to talk about the book and how I felt about it. I had heard about this book for sometime but thought that it was another book about religion, so I really didnt pay too much attention to it.That was until I saw the trailer to the movie, as someone who as been "lost" before I really wanted to see this book. Usually, The books I read need to have a climax, for me to be interested. This book didn't really have a climax.....the whole book WAS the climax. I was so intrigued with this book, it was captivating. Through out the whole time I was reading this book, I thought about my grandpa. Who was my whole world.. We talk about him with Megan, because he was just the most amazing grandpa. I know everyone says that about their grandparents, he was just the type t
