That time I was a "Handy Woman" (Megan's room)
Well, not really. I did work for a small... tiny....little person named Megan. The process to making Megan a "Room" is still in the works. I know I am going really slow but we are in no rush and things are doing along smoothly. On Tuesday I started working for Megan. She needed some curtains to hang, and I kind of made it a point for me to do Megan's room only.
This picture does not look pretty on how we handled the whole curtains but we bought these pink curtain years ago, I think about 2 years ago in hopes that one day we would use them. The only problem when we moved in here was that we only had two curtain and 3 windows, so I knew that at some point we would have to buy new curtain for her. I asked Megan what color of curtains she wanted and she asked for purple. So the next day, Jaime and I go to Anna's linens and we buy some purple curtains.
I had the rods ready to go and Jaime had the "driller" thing ready for me to go. I did sweat and It was pretty hard to do. This was my first time drilling holes and putting rods in for the curtains. Pretty neat experience but definitely hard work. I believe it took me an hour and a half. The first one was the toughest one.
This was the finished product, I think it looks so much better but I do think it still is lacking something. I think I know what it is and I plan on going to back to the store to purchase it but for now this is what it looks like. I also have to iron out these curtains. I mean seriously there are so wrinkled, orI could put them in the dryer and have the dryer iron it.
