Bumpdate-Week 5

How far along: 5 Weeks

 Size of baby: sesame seed
just over 1/2 inch long and is constantly moving and shifting.

Total Weight Gain/Loss: +1

Maternity Clothes: None so far

Gender: Not sure yet

Movement: None

Anything making you queasy or sick:I had a slight episode of queasiness with KFC the other day. I just could not look at the food, one more second.

Sleep:  It's terrible. I'm sleeping at 9, which is so early, but I just can't keep my eyes open any longer. My dreams are terrible and so vivid. The other night I had a dream of a very creepy clown at a circus and Me, Jaime and Megan were in a maze turning round and round..almost going warp speed. Then all these nightmare characters started to come out. Yep...I didn't get any sleep that night  and to top if off Jaime was on shift so there was no way I was shutting my eyes.

What I miss: Not having my boobs hurt.

Happy or Moody most of the time: Most of the time I am happy but occasionally I'll start crying just because.

Cravings: Wooh. Where do I begin, potato soup, lobster, pizza hut wings, cheeseburger, and middle of the night icecream.

Clearly all the things I should not eat.

Looking forward to: Seeing baby for the first time on Tuesday.

Best Moment This Week: Megan touching my belly and saying "Its ok baby, big sister is here".

Uh..can we say cutest things ever said!

Let's raise the stress level just a tad...

When we found out about baby G. We started to question  about our living condition right now. As of right now we only have a two bedrooms. One is ours and the other is Megan's (so jealous she gets her own), so where the heck is baby going to sleep? I think its safe to say that baby will be sleeping in our room for a couple of months then it is time for their own room. Now mind you, in this year alone we have had a ton of events or will have some events by the time baby is here....lets list them.

We bought a brand new car
Baby G is announced
Student Teaching
Megan is in Gymnastics
State testing

Most of this list is more mine than Jaime's. This year, and when I mean " this year" I mean August 2013-May 2014,(I'm still in school year, and will always be) I have a ton of events to do.Its just too many things to think about and do. So when I thought about where baby will be sleeping, I thought about the possibility of buying a house of our own. Why haven't we done it yet?, because we wanted to accumulate more credit to get the best deal for us. We have discussed it and have decided to try and look for a house. We will not start till December but at least we have a month where we will start getting some sort of process going. We have a ton of options to go through and we really don't know where to start, but little by little I am getting some information on which way is better suited for us. I would really like to go through the VA but we don't know I said there are a ton of options that we could choose.

Jaime and I do have an understanding that if we don't get a good deal with mortgage companies then we will not be pushing it. It probably just isn't our time right now and will have to duke it out in our two bedroom home. There is nothing wrong with our home, I love it and so does everyone else. I just hope that we can have a house that is just a little bit bigger. So wish us luck that we are able to find something good.

I've been hunting this house down. However, any house that we like will do:) Its so spacious inside which is what I love/want/

For a couple of months now, Jaime and I have been going back and forth on where we could put Megan for an after school activity. We went to soccer, baton, and gymnastics. In the end Gymnastics won and she is now in a 4yr old class. I love the place we chose. They have windows for parents to see. Honestly, you would think that because parents are able to see the kids would be off and staring out all the time through the windows. Nope, they just go along their business like we were not there.

We had her first class this past week and it was really amazing to see her do her thing. I loved it. I liked see her have some fun. She was doing ballet, she was tap dancing. She was just having a grand time. I cant really explain the feeling I had watching her but I guess close to the feeling would be joy. I bought her another leotard and a skirt for this occasion.

I had to reassure her for two days that everything was going to be o.k and that I was going to be right outside watching her. She was crying saying she didnt want to go. I told her that all she had to go was twice and if she really didnt want to go back then she didnt have to. I did tell her to give it a try, like with everything she does. I always tend to tell her " How would we know if we don't like something, if we don't try it". She gave it a try and loved it.

I think Jaime was the one that was more excited. I swear that man loves his daughter. I think he would have done all the ballet and tapping with her if he was asked. He's just a great dad and very encouraging to Megan. I just love how his face lights up when he's watching her have fun.

4 Week Bump

I really didn't want to do these only because I don't think I can keep up with them every week, but I don't have a lot of pictures "Megan belly" so I really want to capture the growth for this little one.So it's possible they won't always be formal pictures like this one.

How far along: 4 Weeks

Lets get the Party started!

Size of baby: Baby is the size of a poppy seed.
Hands and feet are emerging from developing arms and legs-although they look more like paddles.

Total Weight Gain/Loss: +1

Maternity Clothes: No maternity clothes, yet. Everything fits really well still.

Gender: Not sure yet

Movement: None

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope nothing. I have not had morning sickness at all, and I could not be more happy about it.

Sleep: Cannot sleep on my belly, It hurts if I do. Sleeping on my back and on my side only. I need a pillow when I sleep on my side.

What I miss: Nothing, everything is pretty much the same.

Happy or Moody most of the time: Right now I'm mostly happy.

Cravings: Water & Cheese burger. I've tried drinking soda but baby clearly doesn't like it. Before baby I could drink a soda in one sitting and now I  can only have two sips and be done with it.

Looking forward to: Seeing baby for the first time on October 1st. It is our first ultrasound and saying I'm excited it an understatement.

Best Moment This Week: Telling the FB and blog world about baby Gonzalez. Family and friends were thrilled for us.

Daddy is being extremely helpful with everything and Megan is being extra careful with little baby belly.

How we found out about baby #2

We found out on Tuesday September 10 that we were expecting baby #2!!!

I had a missed period and it had been days since my expected missed period. Of course I took pregnancy test.. All came out..wait for it...Negative. Yes!! All three pregnancy test I took were all negative. So here I am holding the last prengnacy I take and thinking "o.k dont panic maybe my body is changing". I tell my parents about whats going on and they tell me to go see a doctor as soon as possible. We get an appointment for Tuesday and the dotor tells me that sometimes because of stress my body could miss a period. The week I was suppose to have my monthly, I was stressed to the max. I mean I was crying and crying and my anxiety was through the roof. So it just made sense to us and just said ok it was just stress. She tells us that she is still going to take a pregnancy test through blood. After we leave Jaime and I go our separate way. I was going to buy the Big Band theory season 6 and he was going to go to a store to find some tool.

So I'm at the target parking lot getting ready to leave because some sort of a shipment fiasco, they didnt have the dvd. So she a nurse calls me and she says "Mrs. Gonzalez your test came our positive". All I could say was "oh my gosh". I was trying not to crash all the way home. Overjoyed, happy, excited and scared were all the feelings I was experiencing.

Side note while I was at Target I picked up this little number.
I just picked it up just in case. I kind of wanted to tell Jaime in a cute way but since he already knew they were going to call about the results. When I finally got home Jaime and I were talking about something I cant remember. I had the bib in my purse and all of a sudden I take out the bibs from my purse and say  "hey, we are going to need this".

I kid you not.....the guy stayed staring at me for several seconds. He looked like he got paralyzed and count not move his body.

It was hysterical.

Little bit of this a little bit of that

Happy Monday! It's back to another work week or I should say busy week.=)

I am not sure if I have mentioned but I really want a Polaroid camera, only because they are fast for developing and pretty practical when I need a photo right then and there. So I asked Jaime if he thought I could have one and he Of course he said no. He said that he needs to see me use my canon more in order for him to buy the Polaroid for me. So it's been two week since then. I think Ive captured  a pretty good amount of photos. Im kind of excited to get back to my canon. I missed it.

This is a photo I captured the other day....on accident.
I guess I could stick with this camera till Chritmas. I just thought it be fun to get a polariod.

The weather has been terrible for the month of September. It has been raining almost everyday. The Sun...yep haven't seen it in weeks. Its like a twilight zone. It's just raining and raining all day, all night. I mean of course it stops but then its starts up again. It's so bad I'm not kidding. I've been rained on twice while getting some groceries. We've been cooped up inside for past couple of weeks and it's not fun. As I am typing this it has begun to rain again.....

So with all this rain we had to get a bit creative on fun. This is one of the events that has been happening while it's been raining. I about just died when I saw them dressed like this. I mean how could I have been so lucky to have a husband that is this great of a dad.

I had a practice state test again and I met up with a professor of mine so I could talk about some classwork as well. She ended up giving me a lanyard and some other goodies. My other lanyard was looking crummy so Im glad she gave me this one. I just love it!!!! Now that Ive made an impression, she may know my name:) and not just another students in her classroom.

Our weekend

Its Tuesday already and I probably should have written this yesterday but yesterday was a little bit of a bum day for us.
I guess we're gonna go all the way back last Thursday. My little brother had a football game that day. Before we left I asked my mother why she was taking her umbrella and she said "just in case". Well. "Just in case" turned out to be right. About 2 minutes after walking through the gates of the stadium it started pouring rain. A lot of people were drentched in water. My dads shirt was soaked, it was like he took a shower with his clothes on. We took shelter in the bathroom but everyone was in there. It was terrible. But.....After the rain there was a beautiful sun shinning:)

Friday was boring, I spent the whole day reading my literature book for class. It is something about Gilgamesh. It's interesting but not intersting enough for me to enjoy it(...ZZZzzzzz). That night I had class. I think I mentioned it in an earlier posts that I had class on Friday nights and Saturday mornings. On that day it was going to be my first day of class. It was an interesting class, and I predict will be one of the ones where I have to proof read everything I turn in. Not that I don't proof read my work but now I actually have to check the ins and outs to my papers.

After my class on Saturday morning we went shopping. It was pretty fun, we bought some stuff that we needed and wanted. We arrived at the outlets mall about 1 and didnt leave till it was a fun filled day of shopping.
Afterwards we left to my sister in laws party. It was just me and Jaime because Megan was too tired to go. She was falling asleep in the car on our way home, so we left her at my moms house.
Sunday we had a small little get together for dinner. Jaime was outside BBQing and we were enjoying some Big Brother. I love Big Brother and we are huge fans and I think I just took my family to the other side:) I think the secretly loved it too. I mean seriously this season hasnt been that great but It still is pretty good.

That was pretty much our weekend. I know it doesn't sound all that great but it was somewhat relaxing and tiring.
